Course Description

This course refreshes your knowledge and skills by combining confined space planning, observation, and entry with the use of gas testing equipment. It is about the safety of people who enter confined spaces, including risk assessment and emergency procedures. Students will need to perform a simulated confined space entry safely.

Entry Criteria

Students who refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards or at least one of the units.

Numeracy and Literacy: Students must be able to write, speak, and understand basic English to complete the assessments.

Recommended: 23229 – Use a safety harness system when working at height. (Available from SureSafety)
