Course Description
This course refreshes your knowledge and skills of the duties of a fire and emergency warden, including identifying safe evacuation routes and assembly points and learning how to run an evacuation effectively.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Explain and demonstrate knowledge of Fire and Emergency Warden duties in the workplace in accordance with the law.
- Demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site.
- Implement strategies to safely evacuate the workforce.
Entry Criteria
Students who refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards.
Numeracy and Literacy: All students must have the ability to write, speak and understand basic English to complete the assessments
