FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING
COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is for workers at the workplace or people at home who needs to gain knowledge and understanding on how to identify types of fires and how to suppress fires with handheld extinguishers and hose reels. This course will also give you the practical skills to put out a fire using the correct equipment.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:

At the completion of the course you will be able to:

Understand the fire classes and fire suppression techniques

Select and implement a strategy to deal with fire

Explain the use of fire blankets and their limitations

Workplace inspections

Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles of the chemistry of fire and the basic principles of the physics of fire​
