FIRE EXTINGUISHER REFRESHER COURSE

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course refreshes your knowledge and skills on the different types of extinguishers and extinguishing methods so that participants meet all the key competencies to keep their fire qualification current. It includes a practical session and is tailored to meet the company fire safety requirements.

3271:   Suppress fire with hand extinguisher and fixed hose reals
4647:   Explain principles of fire science

ENTRY CRITERIA:

Students that refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards.

Numeracy and Literacy: All students must have the ability to write, speak and understand basic English to complete the assessments

 

DURATION:

1.5 - 2 hours Face-to-face
