First Aid Revalidation
Refresh first aid skills with scenario-based training covering accident management, CPR, choking, AED use, shock, medical and trauma emergencies to preserve life and promote recovery.
Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC)
This three-day course develops advanced first aid and emergency response skills. Learners train in airway support, oxygen use, defibrillation, patient monitoring, safe lifting, stress management, and documentation.

Course Duration:
The course is our most advanced first aid course and is three (3) days long, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. It combines theoretical and practical sessions, and students are assessed continuously during the course. Upon successful completion, the certificate is valid for two years.
Units:
(NOTE: This unit standard may be an end in itself, or be used by those who intend to become emergency care first responders. Unit standard 14473, 25411, and 25412 were replaced by 29321)
Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) Refresher
This one-day refresher renews and updates PHEC certification. Participants reinforce their knowledge of emergency scene management, advanced life support, patient handling, monitoring, and stress strategies.
