Course Description
Even if your staff completed their original training somewhere else, we can provide a refresher for you. This course uses comprehensive scenarios to refresh the candidate on accident management, CPR, choking and AED use, shock, medical emergencies, and trauma so that you can be confident in preserving life, promoting recovery, and preventing the casualty from worsening.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Explain and demonstrate knowledge of Fire and Emergency Warden duties in the workplace in accordance with the law.
- Demonstrate knowledge of evacuation requirements for a particular workplace or site.
- Implement strategies to safely evacuate the workforce.
Entry Criteria
Students who refresh the unit standards must hold the current unit standards.
Numeracy and Literacy: To complete the assessments, all students must be able to write, speak, and understand basic English.
As of 1 February 2023, you can attend a revalidation course if your certificate is no older than two years and three months from the issue date.
