Course Description
This webinar ensures that any person at work would understand the key terminologies, duties and requirements of each duty holder under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and associated Regulations. This webinar focuses on supervisors, managers, subcontractors, and workers to understand the key compliance requirements of the organisation.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Gain an understanding of the new HSWA 2015 vs the old HSE Act 1992.
- Cover relevant terminologies, such as PCBU, Officer, Worker, other people and notifiable events.
- Discuss the meanings of reasonably practicable, workplace, risk and worker engagement and participation.
- Establish the duties under the Act for the PCBU, Officers and workers including the offences for each under the HSWA 2015.
- Overview of the Health and Safety Representative, Work groups and Health and Safety committees.
- Duties associated with the management of risks and hazard reporting.
- Reviewing some case studies and fines/notices issued under the Act.
