Course Description
This course is for anyone involved in completing risk assessments who needs to know how to perform a job safety analysis (JSA), prepare a work method statement, and undertake a job safety analysis for tasks in the workplace.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Prepare a work method statement for a specified job.
- Able to identify the job, the work activity, key processes involved, and complete documentation in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Produce a completed job safety analysis for a specified job.
- Identify the person(s) responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reviewing the control measures in accordance with organisational requirements relating to the JSA.
Entry Criteria
Numeracy and Literacy: To complete the assessments, all students must be able to write, speak, and understand basic English.
