Course Description
People credited with this skill standard will be able to operate a forklift fitted with an attachment in the workplace.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Describe the safe operating features when using an attachment on a forklift.
- Prepare a forklift with an attachment for use.
- Attach an attachment to the forklift.
- Operate a forklift with an attachment.
Entry Criteria
Pre-requisite: Skill standard 40735: Operate a forklift safely, or unit standard 10851, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.
Ākonga/learners must be aged 15 years or older on enrolment.
Numeracy and Literacy: Students must be able to write, speak, and understand basic English to complete the assessments.
